Cookie policy

1. In short
Neither sice.site nor the Sice app sets cookies of its own, for tracking or for advertising, and we load no third-party scripts to measure you. The little we need to remember is kept in your browser's local storage (localStorage or sessionStorage), on your device, and we list it below.
2. On sice.site
- sice.theme: remembers that you chose the dark theme. It only exists if you choose it, and it is removed when you switch back to light.
- sice.attribution: the campaign, referring site and landing page of your first visit from an ad or a link with campaign parameters, so we know where a contact-form message came from. It lasts 90 days.
- sice_chat: your chat conversation with the Sice team, so it is not lost if you reload the page.
- _sice_s (localStorage) and _sice_attr (sessionStorage): used by our analytics to group the pages of one visit. The visit identifier is random and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity; it does not follow you from one visit to the next.
What the analytics measures: the page, clicks (link text and destination), how far you scroll and the visible time, the device type, browser, operating system, country (inferred from the time zone), language and screen size. We do not store your IP address, we filter out bot traffic, and the data is deleted automatically after 90 days.
3. On guest pages
The pages a business invites you to (chat, video call, telehealth) open in the Sice app (app.sice.site) and keep in your browser your guest session in a conversation (sice-talk-…) and your name and email, so you do not have to type them again (sice-guest-identity).
4. In the Sice app
The app (app.sice.site, Android and Linux) sets no cookies. It keeps your session encrypted in the browser's or device's storage and removes it when you sign out; access renews every 15 minutes and a session lasts up to 30 days without signing in again. It also remembers your theme and language. The app includes no third-party analytics or advertising tools.
5. Third-party services
When you connect a Meta, Google, Microsoft, TikTok or LinkedIn account, you go to that platform's site, which uses its own cookies under its own policy. The same happens if a page shows a Google map.
The websites businesses publish with Sice belong to those businesses: they can show their own cookie notice and policy.
6. How to clear it
You can clear sice.site's and app.sice.site's storage at any time from your browser's privacy settings ("Clear browsing data" or "Site data"). Clearing the app's storage signs you out.
7. Changes and contact
If we start using cookies or storing anything new, we will add it here first. For any question, write to contact@sice.site. How we handle your data is in the Privacy policy.
