How do I create my website and publish it?
In Websites › Sites you create the site with a name and a subdomain, edit it and press Publish. It goes live at your-subdomain.sice.site, over HTTPS.
Where it lives
Websites › Publishing › Sites
Step by step
- Open Websites and, under Publishing, go to Sites.
- Press New site and pick Build a site in Sice.
- Type the site's name and its subdomain. Under the field you will see the address you get: your-subdomain.sice.site.
- Press Save. Then press Pages on the site's card to edit it however you like.
- When it is ready, press Publish on the site's card. From then on anyone can open it.
Worth knowing
- The subdomain is created together with the site and comes verified: you do not have to touch any DNS to get your site online.
- Until you press Publish, the site is not visible from outside. And you can take it down whenever you want with Unpublish, in the card's menu.
- A published site is served over HTTPS, with no certificate for you to buy or install.
